Florida – After nearly 20 years, artificial reefs come to Marine Sanctuary – Gulf Breeze News

FORT WALTON BEACH, FL – Tuesday morning, Santa Rosa County and the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting on Navarre Beach for the first reefs placed Soundside this week in the Navarre Beach Marine Sanctuary. Two reefs were placed last week off the Sound, with one more to be placed later this summer in the Gulf of Mexico waters.
