New Jersey – Long Beach Island Seemingly Richer With Sand Dollars Following Beachfill – The SandPaper

Beachgoers can’t pay the ice cream man in sand dollars, but the bleached shell of this circular, flat echinoid is nonetheless a fine find along LBI’s shoreline, and seemingly less rare this summer following the beach replenishment project recently completed in a section of Long Beach Township.
