Rhode Island House endorses $7.5 million dredging project – Boston.com

PROVIDENCE, R.I.—Rhode Island lawmakers are backing a $ 7.5 million plan to dredge the Port of Davisville at the Quonset Point business park.

The proposed dredging is intended to expand shipping activity at the port. The work would be financed by revenue from the port, which is a major handler of imported automobiles.
